Explosion-proof electric motors VASO5K series

Explosion-proof vertical asynchronous three-phase alternating current electric motors with squirrel-cage rotor VASO5K series designed for continuous operation S1 as a gearless drive for fans of air coolers.

Degree of protection: housings and terminal boxes – IP54.
Cooling method: ICA0141 – blown with self-ventilation.
Direct engine start, provided as at rated voltage, and when the mains voltage drops during the start-up until 0,8 Unom.
Motors have rolling bearings. Bearing lubrication – consistent.
Motors are manufactured with one protruding tapered shaft end in accordance with GOST 12081.
Insulating materials of the stator winding of the heat resistance class “F”.
The terminal box has three power and earth terminals, allows entry of armored cable with copper conductors. The terminal box can be rotated 90 and on 180 degrees. Negotiated when ordering: – “terminal box down”, “up”, “to the left”, “to the right”, when viewed from the side of the terminal box on the engine, paw-mounted (the output end of the shaft is directed upwards).
Electric motors allow right and left direction of rotation.
By agreement with the customer, motors for other capacities can be manufactured., stresses, current frequency and other climatic versions, as well as with other installation and connection dimensions, taking into account the requirements of the contract.
At the request of the customer, the motors can be completed:
– SKF bearings;
– magnetically liquid hermetic sealer;
– pads for vibration sensors;
– resistance thermometers for monitoring bearing temperatures;
– a platform for the installation of the terminal box.
VASO5K-37-24 engines can be manufactured with a cylindrical shaft end (see figure 2) according to GOST 12080

Electric motors VASO5K are completely interchangeable with engines of the VASO2 and VASO4 series, at the same time, 24-pole VASO5K have the following advantages over analogues:
– Direct savings in consumer operating costs – cos φ on 10-15% above, than comparable motors from other manufacturers, which significantly reduces the current consumption (also on 10-15%)
– Reducing the load on the foundation – the mass of the engines is reduced by 20-30% in comparison with analogues
