Contest “Chernobayev's chant”

11 June 2013 p. chairman of the regional council of Kherson region Viktor Pelykh, Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Mykhailo Melnyk, Deputy Chairman of Chornobayiv Village Dmytro Butriy and Chairman of the Board of a Private Lease Cooperative «Star» Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Motornyi opened the 16th regional choral competition «Chornobayevsky sang» in the Chornobayev Palace of Culture.
Choristers were met again in Belozersky district. They took part in the competition 14 choirs from Odessa, Mykolayiv and Kherson regions – 350 man. They showed a high level of performance, stage culture and perfect professional selection of the repertoire. Sixteenth time “Chornobayevsky sang” gathered the best choirs.
In the nomination «academic choral performance» teams from Nova Kakhovka won all the prizes:
And place – folk women's choir of the club Ltd. «Novokakhovka Electromechanical Plant», head Tatiana Morozovskaya;
Second place – folk men's choir named after Taras Oliynyk club LLC «Novokakhovka Electromechanical Plant», head Nina Sheveleva;
Third place – folk choir of the Novokakhovka PC, head Nina Sheveleva, concertmaster Natalia Pshon.
Folk women's choir of the club Ltd. «Novokakhovka Electromechanical Plant» received a nomination for the best arrangement of Ukrainian folk songs.
