


14 March on the basis of the Novokakhovsky Electrotechnical Lyceum (PTU№7) A regional competition of professional skills in the specialty was held “Turner 2019”.
Sponsorship of the competition, including the prize fund and gifts provided by the Novokakhovsk Electric Machine-Building Plant NVP “NKEMZ” (electric machine), And “Kherson Machine-Building Plant” (harvester).
The event was organized by “Association of employers' organizations of Kherson region” together with the Board of Directors of Vocational Education Institutions of the region.
Contestants – students for this specialty from educational institutions of Kherson and Novaya Kakhovka, competed in theoretical knowledge and practical skill – turning parts.
After completing the competitive competitive program, participants together with their masters, teachers and organizers visited the plant's tool shop NVP “NKEMZ”.
Here they were shown the equipment, which is used in the production of real Ukrainian electric cars. And also a master class from highly qualified turner Nikolai Antipovich. Commenting on the work of your subordinate, shop manager Leonid Gerasimenko noted: “In this business, accuracy and working according to drawings are the most basic requirements”.
After visiting the plant, the winners were awarded. The technical director greeted all the competitors and their teachers NVP “NKEMZ” Vyacheslav Veremeenko. Presenting diplomas and gifts, he invited each of the contestants to work at his factory, producing electric motors and generators. And in support of his words, the contestants received certificates guaranteeing the right to employment and bonus payments, if a young turner, after graduation, comes to work similar to the inviting company, similar certificates were presented by representatives “Kherson Machine-Building Plant”.
Yaroslav Topilyuk became the winner of the competition (Kherson Polytechnic College of Odessa National Polytechnic University). In second place is Sergey Skripets (Novokakhovsk Polytechnic College of Odessa National Polytechnic University), in third place - Alexander Chervonyak (Maritime College of Kherson State Maritime Academy). Together with the contestants, the masters were awarded, who prepared children for the competition. So Boris Babenko received the diploma "The best master of industrial training 2019".

A feature of this competition was the fact, that the jury noted the skill of the guys who took not only the first three places, but even the seventh. We remind once again, that each contestant received a guaranteed right to employment at the Novokakhovsky and Kherson machine-building plants, present, including such a necessary tool in the work of a turner, like an electronic caliper, as well as a cash prize.
By actively participating in the organization and conduct of this competition, Ukrainian manufacturing enterprises confirmed their great interest in attracting young workers in working specialties.
