Induction motors 4AMU90-355 with a squirrel-cage rotor designed to drive electric pumping units, located in «clean» premises and «dirty» boxes (outside the sealed area) NPP ( version A3).
Engines – earthquake resistant. Required seismic resistance category according to PNAEG-5-006 and safety class according to PNAEG-01-011-97 specified in the technical requirements for the delivery of a specific engine.  
The level of seismic effects on engines of III category of seismic resistance is taken 6 points on the MSK-64 scale.
Protection class IР55. Insulation class – F.
Executions according to the method of installation in accordance with GOST 2479: on paws – IМ1001;
Climatic performance – U2 according to GOST 15150.
The motors are designed for operation in S1 mode with an AC mains supply with a frequency of 50 Hz, tension 380/660 IN
Temperature control sensors are installed in the stator winding (3 pieces, serial connection diagram).
To monitor the bearing temperature, each bearing unit is equipped with one resistance thermocouple with a nominal static characteristic Pt100 and a three-wire connection.
Electric motors have an input device, located on top and can be turned by 180° .
Engines are manufactured according to technical specifications BIYAN.525522.007TU.
Technical characteristics and installation and connection dimensions of the motors fully correspond to the base engines 4AMU90-280, 6AMU315-355 (see link: 4AMU90-280, 6AMU315-355)
