Asynchronous electric motors with squirrel-cage rotor vertical ASVO5K designed for gearless drive of axial fans of cooling towers.
The electric motors are made in a cast casing of gray cast iron with one free shaft end to fit the fan of the air cooler.
Direct start of electric motors, provided as at nominal mains voltage, and when the mains voltage drops during the start-up time to 0,8 Unom.
Continuous operation mode S1 from an alternating current with a frequency of 50 Hz. Motors allow operation as part of a variable frequency drive and with soft starters with a control range from 10 to 50 Hz.
Electric motors allow both left and right direction of rotation.
A platform for installing a vibration sensor is provided on the engine housing.
Thermal relays are built into the winding ends, in the terminal box (3 thermal relay with series connection).
Motors are equipped with sealed SKF bearings .
Climatic version:Motors are designed for outdoor operation, in macroclimatic regions with a temperate climate (climatic modification U1 in accordance with GOST 15150), or temperate and cold climates (version UHL1) wherein:
a) For execution U1
– upper operating value of air temperature during operation – plus 40ºWITH;
– lower operating value of air temperature during operation – minus 45ºWITH;
– relative humidity of the ambient air up to 100% at plus 35ºWITH.
b) For UHL1 version
– upper operating value of air temperature during operation – plus 40ºWITH ;
– lower operating value of air temperature during operation – minus 60ºWITH;
– relative humidity of the ambient air up to 100% at plus 25ºWITH.
Degree of protection of the case and terminal box: IP 55.
