Improving production culture

A lot can be said about the culture of production, but most important, what can be distinguished – high production culture is an indispensable condition for the production of high-quality competitive products, meeting modern market requirements.
In July, an order was issued for the enterprise «On raising the level of production culture». This order regulates the development of an enterprise standard (STP) «Production culture», which will stipulate the regulations of all basic procedures from ensuring cleanliness and order at workplaces to purchasing the necessary overalls, equipment, etc..
A plant-wide commission was created and has already begun to work to check the state of production culture.. A list of necessary measures has been developed that must be performed by structural divisions to restore order and improve production culture.
WITH 01.08.2012 production divisions have started to fulfill the assigned tasks. Preparation of equipment for painting is in full swing, cleaning of adjacent territories, unused equipment and scrap metal are removed from the shops. Necessary materials are being purchased, inventory, workwear.
Based on the results of the implementation of the planned activities, the plant-wide commission will determine the best structural unit and reward its active participants.
