24 August in Kiev on Khreshchatyk the Final of the Ukrainian Streetball League took place 2012!
The final tournament was attended by 40 male, 16 female, 16 youth teams from different parts of the country. In addition, the prizes were raffled 16 top players in the discipline «1 on 1», leading «dunkers» and the strongest «snipers». More than 100 teams in all streetball disciplines.
The tournament was held with the support of the Kiev City State Administration.
The prize fund of the Final was 240 thous. UAH.
Alexander Mezhuev's team (shop manager # 10) «New Kakhovka» at the end of the tournament got into the top eight teams.
This is not the first high performance of the team «New Kakhovka». Previously, in Simferopol, at the qualifying stage of the Ukrainian Streetball League 2012 – “Simferopol Streetball Challenge 2 the team became the champion of the competition, and Alexander Mezhuev was recognized as the most valuable player of the tournament.
